When working with others as part of a team

When working with others as part of a team, it is important to ensure effective communication with every member of the team by being honest, open and appropriate whilst providing constant support to them. As everyone is an individual, when it comes to working as a team, respecting the views of others can be effective and allows each member to feel included with decision making, the care that is provided and generally makes people enjoy going to work. Being open to new ideas that an individual brings to the team and having a flexible approach can demonstrate an individual’s willingness to fully participate and contribute. When a team is working successfully, and each individual feel involved, recognition of performance can encourage team members to work harder in achieving shared goals.
